Construction Controller

Lipsky Construction is a Commercial Construction Company located in Bayport, New York. We service clients in the Long Island and New York Metropolitan Area.

Lipsky is currently looking for a full time Controller to take full responsibility for our Accounting Department. This person must work 5 days a week in the office and will report directly to the President of the Company. The Controller is to handle the day to day cashflow and maintain a global understanding of the companies financial position.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year

Job Duties Include (but are not limited to)

01. Work with project managers to collect all pertinent information for ongoing projects in order to maintain a good cash position.

02. Needs to forecast accounts payable based on the projected accounts receivable.

03. Be able to manage multiple companies books

04. Provide owner with financial reporting

05. Reconcile bank accounts

06. Maintain accurate records via regular reconciliation to provide quick and accurate quarterly financial statements.

07. Must be proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Word and Excel.

08. Must have a minimum of 5+ years experience with construction experience

09. AP, AR, G/L, Weekly bank account reconciliations, cash management, cash flow reports to owner.

10. Work In Place (WIP) Experience

11. Certified Payroll Experience

12. Payroll oversight

13. Manage Accounts Receivables

14. Manage Accounts Payables

15. Will be fully responsible for the entire Accounting Department
