Consolidation IT Specialist (New Health Care Company)

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
The person hired for the position of Consolidation IT Specialist will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of consolidation and month-end close processes in a global S/4 HANA SAP environment. The successful candidate will possess a strong combination of analytical and technical skills and will design best practice IT solutions in close collaboration with business counterparts.
As a Consolidation IT Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Execute and deliver SAP S/4 Solutions to 3M Healthcare Global Finance Operations through the leadership of process design and configuration, that meet defined global business objectives and requirements.
- Collaborate with business and IT colleagues in the design, development, testing and delivery of standard finance SAP S/4 solutions.
- Provide knowledge and expertise on current processes and procedures.
- Ensure the products and components work together to meet the objectives and performance goals as defined in the functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operational requirements.
- Identify and help resolve design issues, participate, and provide critique for design reviews.
- Advocate recommended process design changes within their process community.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND five (5) years of information technology experience in a private, public, government or military environment
OR
- High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution and a minimum of (9) years of information technology experience in a private, public, government or military environment
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
- Five (5) years of experience designing, configuring, implementing, or supporting SAP in a global ERP environment in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Experience producing business process and configuration functional design documentation.
- Experience supporting Group Reporting or BPC.
- Experience in project management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Educational or professional background in Finance or Accounting.
- Experience with international or global ERP deployments.
- Experience with integrating other ERP systems to SAP S/4 Group Reporting.

This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
