SAIC is seeking candidates to support United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) for a Data/Configuration Management Specialist position. The primary focus will include: running, updating and writing new scripts/programs to update data, configuring data for users/planners, troubleshooting data and application errors, writing and clarifying technical requirements, and facilitating interoperability between disparate applications via data management design. The successful candidate will be part of the SAIC team, representing users’ best interests while meeting operational goals.
The candidate for this position provides technical Data/Configuration Management Specialist and capabilities solutions to a wide range of difficult problems where analysis of data and data management processes requires evaluation of identifiable factors through imaginative, thorough, and practicable solutions, consistent with organization objectives.
· Knowledge (2+ years) of USSTRATCOM (preferred) data management processes and operations with the ability to design and implement process, infrastructure, data product and data product accuracy and system performance while minimizing risk to data products and operations.
· Knowledge (2+ years) of Structured Query Language (SQL), Oracle PL/SQL, and USSTRATCOM (preferred) data management infrastructures with the ability to design and implement complex data manipulation processes to manage mission data products supporting operations, maintenance and testing.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years experience
· REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE: Candidates must have a current TOP SECRET clearance, and will be required to obtain other special security accesses and SCI to perform the work. Must have a current background investigation within the last six years from actual hire date.
Must be US Citizen and have active TS/SCI Clearance
