The community you’ll be caring for:AdventHealth Riverview
- AdventHealth is expanding our medical expertise, innovation, and state-of-the-art technology to southern Hillsborough County through a brand-new hospital in Riverview, which is scheduled to open in 2024.
- The new AdventHealth Riverview hospital will include 82 beds at time of opening with space to expand to 202 beds in the future.
- This $250 million project in Riverview also includes a 100,000 square foot, four-story Medical Office Building that will provide community members convenient access to expert care.
- AdventHealth Riverview will offer a wide range of health care services which includes emergency, cardiovascular, digestive, urology, orthopedic and women’s care.
The role you’ll contribute:
The Concierge/Volunteer Manager leads the hospital’s Concierge, Giftshop, and Volunteer programs. Primarily, this individual is responsible for managing guest relations and concierge services for the hospital, including front desk personnel. They must deliver outstanding customer service to hospital guests, employees, and community partners. Other responsibilities include overseeing giftshop operations which include achieving/exceeding daily sales goals, daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, inventory, accounting functions, unpacking and pricing merchandise, merchandising the store and reordering. They must also oversee the hospitals volunteer program, including the recruitment, training, scheduling, and direction of the volunteer activities.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Recruits, trains and carries out employee engagement strategy for team of direct reports
- Manages the concierge services, including the front desk staff, who serve as concierge for staff and visitors.
- Develops and maintains the procedure manual for the front desk operations.
- Trains front desk staff. Supervises, manages schedules and vacation coverage
- Partners and develops strong, collaborative relationships with campus leadership to identify volunteer roles that meet the business needs
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in business management or related field
- 2 years retail management experience or equivalent
- Driver's License
