Volunteer Engagement Manager

Full-Time Salary Exempt

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Volunteer Manager works to engage, train, and retain an active volunteer group that is ready to support the program needs of the organization. Within this role, the work will require strong written and verbal communication skills along with the organization of data and scheduling. The volunteer coordinator will support the volunteer process across the organization's service area and all the programs offered while maintaining the volunteer schedule.

This dynamic role must embrace and model a passion for the mission and a commitment to the work required to deliver on our mission. A working understanding of all programs is required to best train and develop volunteers. This position will uphold the organization’s program standards and embrace our culture while positioning the organization for growth and increased efficiency. This position will support the work needed to meet our organizational goals and improve the quality of the volunteer experience thus creating a more engaged and expanding volunteer base.

The Volunteer Engagement Manager will serve as a bridge between the Program and Development work of the organization. Within this role, the Manager will share in the responsibilities of leading the program and development operations as our volunteers contribute and participate in both parts of our work.

This role will serve as a leadership role within the organization and will have room for growth, professional development, and contribution. This role reports to the CEO and will regularly work with the leadership of the organization to ensure organizational success. Reporting results, and opportunities and sharing information is a regular part of the job.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
