Summary of Objective:
The CMMS Administrator is responsible for the providing full scope of technical support for the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The CMMS Administrator will be required to solve ad hoc business problems via data analysis and ad hoc development via CMMS, and other tools as needed. Stays current with new application functionality and enhancements and supports CMMS system upgrades. Provides a professional service within and outside the CMMS team and represents the team in all actions. Applies proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve system issues to maximize system potential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned.

  • This position requires the ability to communicate clearly and accurately, verbally and in writing and a strong understanding and knowledge of CMMS functions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Provide training to cross functional departments and technicians on the use of CMMS.
  • The candidate will be expected to evaluate and prioritize activities to support the business and add value to the company.
  • May be required to travel for business reasons, e.g. training and meetings.
  • Works on complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Finds innovative ways to search for meaningful patterns, trends, and relationships amongst large amounts of data and to identify the success measures, analyses and reporting processes that lead to actionable findings.
  • Monitor workflows and the performance of the CMMS system.
  • Contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.
  • Considered an expert in the field within the organization.
  • Proficiency in report development using a business intelligence report development tool
  • Problem solving, decision making, and relationship building.
  • Manage multiple projects, delegate, and prioritize appropriately, manage resources and schedules to meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or other technical designation.
  • Basic Mathematical Skills
  • Intermediate Computer Skills: Ability to perform more complex computer tasks and has knowledge of various computer programs.
  • Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.
  • Intermediate Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions that may be furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems that involve several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Subject Matter Expert for CMMS systems, processes and procedures
  • High level of proficiency in administering a CMMS system.
  • High level of proficiency with Excel and advanced Excel formulas.
  • Other Required Skills.

Preferred
  • Ability to effectively present information to various people as the job requires.
  • Ability to display excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work independently and/or part of a team.
