Who We Are:
The Substance Use Disorder Services staff at The Elliot assesses, treats, and supports individuals with SUD who are in or seeking recovery. Our multidisciplinary team includes licensed mental health and substance use clinicians, psychiatric providers, RNs, case managers, and recovery support staff. The MOM program is available to women who are currently pregnant and up to two years postpartum, have opioid misuse disorder, and who are eligible for Medicaid. By serving as an access point to these resources, the MOM program helps new and expecting mothers and their babies have good health during pregnancy and beyond.
About the Job:
The Program manager will coordinate the Program for the Manchester Community.
What You'll Do:
- Provides liaison services between the community, Elliot Hospital, treatment providers, and other agencies.
- Conducts public relations activities related to the Program. May be required to serve on committees or task forces as assigned by the Program Director
- Coordinates communication between treatment providers through both written and verbal means in a timely manner.
- Prevents and/or resolves developing crisis to avoid unnecessary use of emergency rooms, detoxification, in-patient treatment, and re-hospitalizations.
- Assists in gathering and maintenance of statistical data regarding activity of treatment providers.
- Meets regularly with treatment providers to review programs, strategies, and progress and to ensure the behavioral health standards are compiled with during treatment.
- Assists in the development of goals, objectives, and strategies for program.
- Assists with the development of written protocol and procedures for the operation of the program; develops appropriate program brochures, handbooks, clinical paperwork, literature, videos or press releases as approved by Elliot Hospital.
Who You Are:
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, plus a minimum of twelve (12) hours of annual continuing education and training in substance abuse and criminal justice issues.
Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years of related work experience, including familiarity with third party billing.
Licensure/Other: May be required to travel in and out of the state to attend meetings, participate in training and/or attend conferences.
