Summary
We provide great I.T. services to small and medium businesses in the Kansas City area and we have an opening for a Computer Support Specialist. There is a lot of variety in this role, including working with a wide variety of equipment and providing a mix of services including installation, user support, and network administration. We're looking for a bright individual who is dedicated to exceptional service and shares our passion for I.T.!
You'll have a direct and positive impact on our clients, by solving their I.T. problems and working with them to improve their I.T. systems. You'll be working directly with clients from our office and at client sites.
Each day starts with a brief team meeting to discuss current projects. Office hours are 8-5. There is some after-hours work, so weeks may be a bit longer than 40 hours, but most after-hours work is flexible to accommodate family or other commitments.
This role offers a clear path for career advancement to Sr. Support Specialist. There are opportunities to shift into other roles, as well. Advancement is based on merit, not just seniority.
Wages commensurate with experience, $40-80k. Tekniq also offers great benefits including paid time off.
Requirements
- Passion for and knowledge of computers, networks, and basic cybersecurity
- 1+ years Computer Support experience
- Good people skills
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree a plus but not required
