Who We're Looking For
Syniverse is dedicated to creating a risk and controls culture mindset across the organization. The Compliance Manager will play a critical role in ensuring our organization adheres to environmental, social, and governance standards. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams, monitor compliance, and drive sustainable practices. Also, the Compliance Manager is a change agent and advocate for risk management. This role is a liaison between the audit team and customers in managing SOC audit report distribution and related customer requests. This role will also perform other compliance activities such as policy management. The Compliance Manager will do this through living the Syniverse values while creating a successful risk-based compliance program. This role also provides project management activities for other compliance programs including the coordination of annual external audits (e.g., SOC). There is an element of customer service required in this role to address ad-hoc compliance customer requests.

Scope of the Role:
- Direct Reports: This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and assess ESG-related risks across the organization. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to mitigate risks effectively.
- Regularly monitor ESG compliance metrics, track progress, and prepare reports for senior management and external stakeholders. (e.g., annual ESG report, CDP and EcoVadis).
- Educate employees on ESG principles, policies, and their role in compliance. Foster a culture of sustainability and responsibility.
- Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting related to ESG performance.
- Work closely with legal, finance, operations, and sustainability teams to integrate ESG considerations into business processes.
- Prepare and submit ESG disclosures, including sustainability reports, in accordance with relevant frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).
- Stay informed about evolving ESG regulations and standards. Recommend improvements to enhance our ESG practices.
- Manage other compliance related processes such as annual corporate policy certifications.
Experience, Education, and Certifications:
- 4+ years experience with qualified Audit/Compliance exposure or related field
- Strong project management experience
Additional Requirements:
- Flexibility and aptitude for change.
- Project management skills.
- Strong analytical skills required.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel ability required.
- Knowledge of COSO preferred.
