Who We’re Looking For:
We have an immediate opportunity for a Regulatory Compliance Specialist. The Regulatory Compliance Specialist ensures that the organization adheres to all laws guiding its operation, and promotes an organizational culture that encourages ethical business conduct and a commitment to compliance with the law, resulting in a positive image to associates, customers, vendors, and the community. This position will ensure that sufficient internal policies and controls, reasonably capable of reducing the likelihood of improper conduct, are in place.

Job Functions/Requirements:
- Act as liaison between the company and the regulatory bodies
- Perform regulatory compliance safety rounds/checks to guarantee continuous regulatory compliance as needed
- Determine compliance-related priorities including Export licensing and control, ISO documentation, ITAR Compliance and processes, as well as Internal and External auditing
- Review documentation, processes, and practices
- Document compliance-related processes and maintain records
- Develop and enact regulatory compliance strategies
- Perform compliance audits and compile reports
- Relate with all levels of employees to discuss regulations, standards, and company policies with the aim of providing education as needed
- Responsible for the review of incident data and carry out root cause analysis to ascertain the cause
- Review and evaluate the company’s products/services to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards of identity, and claim requirements
- Communicate up-to-date knowledge of current US and relevant international regulations that concern the operations of the company to internal partners
- Responsible for answering compliance-related questions to provide regulatory guidance regarding the products/services of the company, in accordance with emerging/new regulations
- Provide training in compliance practices and procedures
- Conduct research to provide appropriate compliance recommendations, advise on upcoming regulations, and evaluating the overall impact on the business
- Act as the face of the company in compliance matters in a professional and proficient manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Previous Experience/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in the field of regulatory specialization or natural sciences
- At least three (3) years’ experience as a regulatory compliance specialist, or similar
- Five (5) years of quality assurance experience working in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Previous Experience/Qualifications:
- An accredited qualification in regulatory and compliance assurance preferred
- ITAR/EAR Compliance certificate or finalizing training courses during last three (3) years
