Job Summary
SpecialtyCare continues to expand our footprint and we are seeking a Compensation and HRIS Analyst to join our talented People team! This role is responsible for administering, facilitating, and maintaining both SpecialtyCare's (SC) Compensation program and Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This includes market pricing, data analysis, and job and people data management. The analyst will also provide support and guidance to Corporate and Field management to foster data driven decisions in alignment with SC's objectives and compliance with applicable regulations. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain the company's compensation programs by:
    • Reviewing and finalizing job descriptions.
    • Completing job evaluations, inclusive of, external market pricing, FSLA classification in accordance with Federal regulations and assigning job families, pay grades and incentive eligibility.
    • Maintaining job description standards and storage folders.
    • Participating in annual salary survey submissions.
    • Maintaining incentive plan calculation and eligibility files.
    • Researching and analyzing external and internal data to prepare base pay recommendations for new hires and internal movement decisions.
    • Leveraging and maintaining market pricing tool.
    • Providing ad hoc analysis, pay ranges and/or recommendations with leadership, finance, and HR Business Partners/Managers when appropriate.
  • Manage and maintain HRIS data in adherence to procedures ensuring all service standards and integrity measures are met by:
    • Reviewing and entering new hires, internal associate movement and contractor transactions into the HRIS accurately and timely.
    • Running the New Hire Integration Process.
    • Setting up new and/or modifying existing job codes.
    • Auditing associate data within the HRIS to identify and rectify inconsistencies by generating reports from PeopleSoft.
    • Assisting with troubleshooting HRIS issues in coordination with HR leadership and the Information Services (IS) department.
    • Reviewing and adjusting (as needed) new hire data records within the HRIS weekly.
    • Compiling and submitting weekly new hire and internal movement support files to payroll.
    • Generating and formatting standard reports as requested.
    • Assist with testing new functionality as well as required updates from vendors within HRIS systems.

Education:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Experience:
• Three (3) years of progressive experience within Human Resources.
• Experience with PeopleSoft HRIS, preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience, acceptable.
Knowledge and Skills:
• Demonstrated history of independent work, with minimal supervision.
• Good communication, both oral and written.
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills.
• Good customer services skills and attitude.
• Ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential material.
• Ability to work with many different people with different personalities.
• Strong multi-tasking ability and ability to work through ambiguity.
• General knowledge of Human Resources policies and procedures.
• Good computer skills, including spreadsheet and database usage, Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Must be technology savvy and highly detail organized.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Ability to take care of the customers' needs while following company procedures.
• Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.
• Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal.
• Ability to be internally inspired to perform a task to the best of ones ability using his or her own drive or initiative.
