The Compensation Analyst is responsible for the analysis, delivery, and maintenance of SpotOn's compensation programs. This role will have a significant impact on SpotOn's compensation strategy by informing key strategic decisions to help attract, motivate and retain top talent. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Total Rewards.

About the Role:
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and administration of global compensation programs, including, but not limited to, job benchmarking, annual compensation reviews, pay program designs and compliance, annual salary structure movement, short-term and long-term incentives, and implementation of new programs
  • Conduct benchmarking analysis to develop job profiles, job levels, and pay ranges to maintain the current job architecture and support the strategic growth of the business
  • Manage benchmark survey participation. Analyze and interpret relevant market data, and develop recommendations for updates to job architecture, salary structures and bonus targets as appropriate; partner with Finance to propose salary increase budgets on a global basis
  • Assesses jobs and their respective duties to determine classification as exempt or nonexempt and appropriate salary range.
  • Regularly audit and reconcile compensation data to uphold a high level of data integrity in all systems. Partners with the HRIS team to ensure that data is accurate for use by the compensation department and human resources and that modules/systems are working effectively.
  • Develops and delivers compensation training materials and communications for in-person and virtual platforms to the Human Resources team, leaders, team members, and employees on compensation-related topics, including, but not limited to, trends, regulations, salary structures, salary administration, and projects.
  • Develop compensation reports and tools to inform compensation program decisions, and to forecast and analyze compensation outcomes
  • Serve as a compensation subject matter expert (SME) and consultation partner to cross-functional teams on compensation data inquiries, including HR, Recruiting, HRBP, Finance and SpotOn's management team
  • Advises management on applicable state and federal employment regulations, compensation policies, and human resource procedures
  • Participate in various ad-hoc projects related to compensation and people data analysis

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in compensation or HR data analysis
  • Experience supporting a multi-country employee base - US, Mexico and Poland a plus
  • Experience working with external survey data sources. Experience with Radford a plus
  • Advanced MS Excel or Google Sheets skills (vlookup, index match, pivot tables, forecasting analysis)
  • Experience in ADP, Greenhouse, and Tableau a plus
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem solving skills with the ability to understand and communicate the meaning of the data being presented
  • Has the ability to work autonomously with minimum direction.
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic; you thrive working in a fast-paced environment with quickly changing business needs and can work successfully both independently and within a highly collaborative team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to efficiently communicate with leadership
  • Highly organized and have a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive data with caution and integrity, in accordance with compliance laws and regulations

Compensation:
  • Our base pay range starts at $115,000 -$132,000 for this role
  • Please note the salary range listed is just one component of a competitive compensation package which includes a company stock plan
  • Offers will be reflective of the candidate's location and experience.
