Role Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Compensation Analyst with public sector experience to join our project team. The analyst will provide expert analysis, strategic insights, and actionable recommendations to enhance compensation strategies, ensuring equitable, competitive, and sustainable practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive compensation plan analyses, equity studies, and market & classification studies.
- Develop and implement detailed work plans, demonstrating an in-depth understanding of the project's objectives and deliverables.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data related to current compensation trends, policies, and practices within the public sector, focusing on entities with 5000 or more employees.
- Engage in meaningful community and stakeholder engagement to gather insights and feedback on compensation-related issues and potential impacts.
- Prepare and present reports and findings to City officials, including actionable recommendations for improvements and adjustments to the City’s compensation program.
- Collaborate with Malleus Prendere’s project team and procurement staff to ensure project objectives are met within specified timelines.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in compensation consulting within the public sector, with a portfolio of successful projects involving comprehensive compensation plan analysis, equity studies, and market & classification studies.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into strategic insights and actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders and effectively conveying technical information.
- A commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion within compensation practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic project environment.

Salary: $50,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
