The Compensation Analyst provides direct technical and consultative support in the administration of Holiday Inn Club Vacations staff compensation policies and practices. The Compensation Analyst completes compensation surveys and market pricing, conducts compensation analyses, and maintains the job description and compensation databases. The Analyst manages the daily compensation activities and provides support and advice to Business Leaders and Talent Acquisition regarding interpretation of policies, guidelines, and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:
- Conducts internal and external compensation analyses and provides salary determination recommendations.
- Evaluate requests for existing, new, or modified jobs by completing thorough job evaluations. Reviews job duties, qualifications, and licensure requirements and performs comparative analyses of positions to assess the level and complexity of the position and for placement at the appropriate salary/pay level.
- Maintains centralized position documentation, job descriptions, job codes, and job family records and partners with HRIS to ensure system is updated.
- Assist with the administration of organizational compensation processes, including the calculations, modeling, system configuration, and reporting for merit, bonus, or market adjustments.
- Maintains compensation database, including salary surveys, job matching, and performs analysis on the competitive position for all HICV staff roles.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong analytical skills in compensation, finance or accounting.
- Advanced Excel knowledge is required.
- Experienced in advanced spreadsheet functionality for reporting and analytics.
- Strong presentation and writing skills.
- Multitask projects with multiple deadlines, and in some cases conflicting
- At least 2 years' experience working with principles of compensation, including administration of compensation programs or processes is preferred.
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business, Human Resources or related field preferred.
- Experience in multiple states preferred but not required.
- Ability to effectively communicate with leader at different levels of the organization.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred.
