You can be part of this fast-growing leader in the industry!ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSSupports and assists the Community Association Bookkeeping Manager on a day-to-day basis in handling a variety of issues that may arise Assist the Community Association Manager (CAM) effectively and efficiently addressing concerns from homeownersBe responsive and timely in and assisting internal stakeholders with financial issuesTransition new and leaving associations' financial information into/from our accounting software, under the supervision of the Community Association Bookkeeping Manager Maintains knowledge of key clients and contactsSets up and maintains files, materials, information, schedules and related data, as neededReconcile assigned portfolio of associations' bank statements on a monthly basisOrganize and prepare opening all associations' bank accounts by working with the associations' board of directors and community managersWork with community managers to update signature cards on an as needed basisResearches and provides information materials, such as electronic data (Internet) for projects and special assignmentsRun monthly financial statements for each association, ensure the accuracy and push to web portal by contract dateMaintains a list of CDs and monitors said list for maturing CDs and assists the CAM in establishing new CDs Process settlement sheets as related to the various propertiesMaintains calendars, contact databases, and appointmentsWrites and prepares letters, memos, e-mails, and reports in draft and final formProofreads and edits materials to ensure high quality communicationsAll other duties as assigned MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work as part of a team while also being a self-starterAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to take direction and constructive criticismExcellent data entry skillsStrong understanding of A/R, A/P and General Ledger bookkeepingAbility to review financial statements and make adjustments as neededShows initiative and needs minimal supervisionProficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, PowerPoint)Exceptional time management, prioritization, and organizational skillsMust be able to multi-task efficiently and effectively3-5 years of experience preferred (2-3 years of accounting experience in the Community Association Industry preferred but not required)Positive attitudeCustomer service-oriented PHYSICAL EFFORT REQUIREDRequired to work at a personal computer as well as be on the phone for extended periods of timeMust be able to stand, sit, walk and occasionally climbAbility to lift or move10-20 lbs.Ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarmsMay require some travel to various sitesCompensation details: 24-24 Hourly WagePId89ea32794d0-25660-31057714
