A Personal Injury Attorney, a boutique law firm located in Columbia, Maryland, is seeking a senior level attorney with 5+ years experience in Community Association or development law to join its busy Community Association practice.The ideal candidate will have experience reviewing, drafting, and providing legal opinions on some or all of the following: Master Deeds; Declarations of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions; Easements; Zoning documents; Planned Unit Development documents – Public Offering Statements; Plats; Maintenance Agreements; Articles of Incorporation; Bylaws; Vendor Agreements; AIA Contracts; Rules, Regulations and Guidelines; Schedules of Fines; Resale Packages.
The position requires an individual who is self-motivated, personable, timely and detail oriented.
This position may be in-person in our Class A office in Columbia, Maryland, hybrid or fully remote depending on the candidate's preference and the agreement reached during the interview process. Competitive salary based on experience with the items listed above, but the estimated range is between $160-200K+ for the right candidate. Description of Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing and analyzing governing documents for Community Associations
- Drafting amendments
- Drafting and reviewing written opinion letters
- Making written and oral recommendations to clients on governing law and best practices
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, including American Institute of Architects (AIA) contracts, management contracts

Requirements:
- Licensed attorney in Maryland or ability to obtain within 6 months of hiring
