Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a strategic advisor, develop and implement executive communication strategies to engage employees across the North America organization.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of internal change communication initiatives to foster employee engagement and alignment.
  • Lead the creation of high-impact content, including, speeches, newsletters and presentations.
  • Serve on a project team providing organizational communication support for Johnson & Johnson’s HealtheVoices conference, dedicated to empowering and educating online patient advocates.
  • Facilitate the Johnson & Johnson SHARE Network, a network of patients who volunteer to share their experiences with our employees and key stakeholders. This includes managing updates to the SHARE website, processes and materials, and developing new processes and procedures to improve Johnson & Johnson's ability to share the patient voice internally and externally.
  • Lead proactive issues management, developing patient-focused messaging and coordinated stakeholder outreach.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and designated therapeutic area to ensure flawless execution of communication plans across North America.
  • Manage one direct report and several agencies responsible for digital and social content.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a communications role, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing communication strategies and initiatives
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in working efficiently within a dynamic and time-sensitive work setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with communication tools and platforms
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior executives
  • Extensive knowledge of current communication trends and effective strategies.

Salary:

The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.

The base pay range for this position is $113,000 - $195,500.

Bonus:

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

  • Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
  • Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
  • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year
  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year
  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year
  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
