Seasoned Commercial Roofing Estimator Needed for Growing Company:

Seasoned Roofing Estimator needed for growing Roofing Company. It’s a must that you understand this business from start to finish and we’d prefer you have existing relationships with various vendors and subcontractors. We need someone that really understands the roofing industry and is committed to helping us grow!

From TPO, Metal, PVC, to the latest Coating systems, to work with us you need to know your stuff.

We need bids anywhere from 150k-1 Mill which is our Niche within the industry; however, you’ll need to have proficient ability to bid jobs both self performing work and/or as a sub-contracted agreement. Prevailing wage experience is not mandatory but would be great if you’ve got it.

Work from home 3 days per week is possible. Compensation commensurate with experience. Let’s Talk.

Duties:
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
- Utilize construction estimating software.
- Prepare bid proposals and negotiate contracts with clients and subcontractors
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and implement cost control measures as needed
- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather additional information for estimating purposes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in construction materials and labor costs

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and techniques
- Excellent mathematical skills for accurate cost calculations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex project documents
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, and subcontractors
- Project management skills to ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule
- Negotiation skills for contract discussions with clients and subcontractors
- Familiarity with construction management processes and procedures
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Pay: $73,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
