Reputable, high-value Commercial Real Estate Investment & Development Company located in DELRAY BEACH, FL is looking for In-House Commercial Real Estate Counsel to handle all Commercial Real Estate Transactional matters for our rapidly-growing company. The talented person we hire will succeed our current General Counsel after training under him and establishing yourself with our company. So for now, you will be hired to be the "#2" of our legal department.
SALARY: $175,000 to $280,000 per year (entirely dependent on your experience)
This is an IN OFFICE position in beautiful DELRAY BEACH - it is NOT remote/hybrid. You would be expected to RELOCATE here if you're not within a commutable distance.
We research, purchase and develop land all over Florida (residential and commercial) in areas that are very desirable but zoned poorly. We work with lobbyists and other land use and zoning attorneys to get our land rezoned more favorably for our investment purposes. We deal with land transactions in the 6-7 figure ranges.
We're looking for a seasoned Commercial Real Estate attorney and Transactional Attorney who is familiar with and experienced with contract formation, contract negotiation, leases, negotiations, zoning, Real Estate matters, land use, land purchase agreements, purchase and sale agreements (PSA), and other transactional general counsel experience.
- Ideal candidates will have at LEAST 5 years experience in Commercial Real Estate law in FL.
- Must also have a SIGNIFICANT experience with Section 1031 Exchanges
- Ability to reviewing and write title.
We have a long-tenured General Counsel who handles all of these matters for us, however, he is going to retire in the near future so he would like to train and guide an assistant general counsel to help groom this candidate to eventually take over as head general counsel for our lucrative business.
MUST BE CURRENTLY LICENSED TO PRACTICE LAW IN FLORIDA.
