Responsibilities:

• Must be able to work individually while maintaining exceptional customer service.
• Efficient trouble-shooting and problem-solving of all common mechanical systems up to 50 tons.
• Ability to service and maintain refrigeration equipment from reach-ins to walk-ins.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining ice machines.
• Able to follow all Carolina Air safety guidelines and customer requirements.
• Perform preventive maintenance on heating and cooling systems.
• Perform related work as assigned.
• Assist our install teams as needed.
• Build strong customer relationships and build knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs/expectations.
• Maintain understanding of company repair policies and pricing.
• Ability to discuss repair options with clients and present estimates.
• Ability to learn and utilize all company software applications.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with boilers, chillers and commercial equipment.
• Understanding of controls, troubleshooting, and commissioning 10+ ton industrial equipment
• Ability to communicate with Project Managers/ Customers and his management team to ensure seamless work is performed.
• 3+ years of Refrigeration.
• Valid Driver's License and clean DMV record.
• Excellent technical and communication skills.
• Friendly, personable, and responsible team player.
• Possess own basic hand tools.
• Knowledge of the theory, methods, practices, tools, and equipment of the trade.
• Knowledge of the operating principles and characteristics of the various types of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Knowledge of basic electricity and control systems.
• Ability to apply the theory, technique, principles, and processes of the HVAC mechanic's trade.
• Ability to read, understand, and work from schematics.
• Universal EPA certified.
• OSHA Certification (preferred.
• Be able to bend, stoop, reach, stand, lift and move 50lbs regularly throughout the day.
