Admission Counselors are responsible for engaging, counseling, and enrolling prospective students interested in Associate and Baccalaureate degrees in one of the College’s 5 Schools of Study including the Schools of Nursing, Dental Sciences, Allied Health, Business and Court Reporting. Working alongside the Director of Admissions, this position is designed to offer a foundational understanding of College Admissions and provide exposure opportunities that can lead to rapid professional growth and development.
Duties:
- Serve as a primary contact for prospective students and applicants.
Conducting information sessions and tours for prospective students and their families
- Reviewing applications and collaborating with the Dean of Enrollment Management, Director of Admissions, and various committees to make informed admission decisions.
- Providing academic advisement to students on course selection, degree requirements, and career goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with prospective students and their families
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Desire for accelerated professional growth and development.
