Collaborating Psychiatrist

Position Overview: The Collaborating Physician will primarily work remotely, providing supervision, and will not be responsible for direct patient care unless requested explicitly by the Nurse Practitioner and/or state law. Instead, the role will involve clinical collaboration with the Nurse Practitioner(s) ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, offering medical expertise, and contributing to the development and improvement of the clinical care being provided.

Qualifications:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of residence.
• Board certification in a relevant medical specialty.
• Minimum of 3 years of post-residency clinical experience.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance, and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
