SalaryWe are expanding and looking to add a Cold Header Set Up Operator to our team! The successful candidate will have previous experience operating or Set Up experience on any of this style of headers: Sacma, Formax, Nedschroef, Nationals. Responsibilities
- Apply all essential functions of a Cold Heading Operator
- Perform setups, tear down, and clean up of variety of Cold Heading machines
- Troubleshoot quality issues during production
- Ability to assist other operators with setup, troubleshooting and filling in as required.
- Ability to assist with training as needed.
- Document and follow-up on all changes made to Header Cards
- Check to insure that all setup procedures are being followed
- Communicate information to other shifts regarding problems jobs
- Make regular suggestions on changes to increase machine production
- Follow 6-S principles
Qualifications
- Physically able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, and reach
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic mathematic skills to include the use of decimals and fractions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented
- Completion of Cold Heading Operator testing and mastering the essential functions of that role
