***40 hours per week***

Duties (Code Enforcement/Compliance):
Under the direction of the unit supervisor, responsible for a variety of inspections and for investigating complaints as well as the identification of various code/ordinance/regulation violations. Additional duties include serving violation notices, issuing, preparing reports, and appearing at hearings as necessary.
Requirements: All applicants must test and provide proof of the following at the time of submitting employment application:
High School diploma or G.E.D.
Honorable Discharge if any service in Armed Forces
Original Driver’s License
Must take and pass Broward College CJBAT Test
CJSTC 58 Background Investigation Wavier Form signed AND notarized
Must pass a polygraph exam
Must successfully pass a background screening
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have a driving record satisfactory to the City’s standards
