Registered EEG Technologist preferred but will train the right candidate.
Primary Shift: 7:45AM -4:15PM. Holiday Call coverage is on a rotation basis, split between 7 technicians. Weekend call every 6 weeks.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The CNL Technologist II is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day clinical operations to include resource allocation, assignment of technical staff, performing quality control data, and troubleshooting lab equipment. This position understands the clinical significance of testing performed. Provides support for the Chief Technologists including participation in the education and training of technologist, students, Residents, and Fellows, and providing management coverage when Chief Tech is unavailable. This position requires considerable experience and is expected to serve as a resource for all staff.
EDUCATION:
Associate's of Science , Bachelors preferred and 3-5 years direct patient care in a health care environment.
EXPERIENCE:
Successful completion of ABRET EEG registry or 3-5 years of experience in Electro Neurophysiology and continuing education with intent and eligibility for successful completion of registry examinations.
