Shelburne Veterinary Hospital has an opening for an experienced, full-time Veterinary Customer Service Representative. Our talented team of animal lovers provides exceptional care to our patients and a positive experience to our clients in a supportive team environment, with an emphasis on staff education and skill development.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, energetic team player who can problem solve and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Other qualifications are:
- Strong communication skills in person, in writing and by phone
- Ability to problem-solve and contribute to solutions in a constructive way
- Minimum of 1 year of reception experience required, preferably in a medical office setting
- Initiative and desire to help others when needed
- Well organized and professional; ability to shift priorities as needs change

Job Details:
- Full-time year-round position
- Monday – Friday with rotating Saturday hours
- Answer phone calls and client emails, schedule patient appointments, greet clients, check out clients at the conclusion of appointments and process payments, organize and send medical information upon request.
- Function positively, efficiently and professionally in a fast-moving and high-stress environment
- Work effectively with other staff to include veterinarians and technical staff as well as Customer Service Representative Team

Schedule:
- 8-hour shift, early evening availability required
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating Saturday availability required
Physical Demands:
- Requires sitting, standing, kneeling, lifting, restraining, walking, speaking, hearing ability, visual accuracy, repetitive motions, fast reflexes.
- Ability to lift at least 25lbs.
