First and foremost, we are looking for a skilled person in the CNC Lathe and Milling departments. I am not going to specify the amount of years needed, but for me it was at least 5-10. Yes, there will be training, but you will be expected to at least know cutting speeds and feeds, trouble shooting, fixturing, safety, use of measuring instruments, and have had experiance doing setups of CNC verticle and horizontal machining centers, lathes.
Your input and experiances will be valuble and rewarded. We want you to be a part of the decision making process in job planning and implementation. You will be responsible for completing projects and many jobs on your own and in the manner you choose. Your creativity will be welcomed.
Other opportunities exist such as job estimating, shop floor management, CNC Programming etc. We will send you to programming classes just as soon as you demonstrate the foundation of machining as mentioned. Of course, you probably already know some, if not extensive, cnc programming. However, many machines are different and we understand you may need training on our particular machines!
We are a CNC machine and fabrication shop not unlike many. A family operation with many long term employees. We value and return loyalty, commitment and showing a high value and respect for your job. Please don't have a habit of calling in sick frequently. Hopefully, you will find your long term career here at our shop!
