SAIC is seeking a Data Analyst Proposal Excellence to provide data collection, metric development and reporting, internal assessments, and process improvement support to the Proposal Development Center (PDC). This role supports PE initiatives and includes operational, proposal development, and administrative tasks. This is a collaborative position which requires strong analytical and project management skills. A direct hire position reporting to the PDC’s Vice President, the position may be remote anywhere in the US for the right candidate.
The core job responsibilities include the following:
- Data Collection, Metric Development, and Reporting: Use data analytic methodology for data collection and metric development in support of PE initiatives. For example, consolidate and analyze color review scorecard results, and proposal and document audit tracking and reporting for data presentation on PDC dashboards and in quarterly reports. Duties include database development and testing for PE information repositories to support PDC initiatives, activities, and planning.
- Assessments: Log, continually monitor, and track status of document audits related to PDC standard operating procedures and artifacts used in the proposal development lifecycle. Recommend and perform general analysis of PE tools and artifacts to qualify usage, determine effectiveness and identify potential trends.
- Process Improvements: Perform administrative and analytical tasks in support of PE team process improvement, change management, and Enterprise training initiatives. Support the facilitation and review of PDC work products to enhance efficiencies aligned with SAIC guidelines and industry best practices. Participate in change management and special projects to facilitate broad adoption across the PDC and Business Groups through education, training, and communication campaigns as required.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related discipline and 6+ years of experience, or a Master's Degree and 4+ years of experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in a competitive Federal Government environment.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools with special emphasis on MS Excel, including MS Project.
- Proven aptitude to quickly learn related tool sets, including AI software.
- Self-starter, highly innovative, and possesses strong skills in organizing and managing time across multiple tasks.
- Ability to work autonomously and strongly task-oriented.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with PowerBI and AI technology
- Trained in Shipley Proposal Process
- APMP Certification
