CNC Programmer

Responsibilities:

• Design and program CNC machinery using MasterCam software to meet precise specifications for manufacturing processes.
• Oversee the entire CNC machining process, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting of programs, ensuring optimal performance and quality control.
• Collaborate closely with the machining team, providing technical support and guidance for programs developed, even if the execution is assigned to another associate.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting enhancements in machining strategies and program efficiencies.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintenance protocols for all CNC machinery and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer with expertise in MasterCam.
• Strong background in CNC Machining with hands-on experience in both programming and machining operations.
• In-depth understanding of the manufacturing environment and processes, particularly within sectors such as aerospace, medical, automotive, or industrial manufacturing. Experience in cabinet and stone work will not be considered relevant.
• Proficiency in programming, setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC machines.
• Knowledge of advanced manufacturing principles and ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Formal training or certification in CNC programming and operation, especially with MasterCam.
• Experience with G/M Code programming in addition to MasterCam.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a strong commitment to meeting project deadlines and quality standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
