Position:CNC Operator
Summary of Duties:
- The CNC Operator operates computer numerical control (CNC) mill machining centers to perform machine functions such as boring, facing, and threading parts of metallic workpieces.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Loading parts into the CNC, Operating the CNC, removing machined parts
- Will also be responsible for basic Inspection of parts. Including but not limited to Visual Inspection, Fixture checks, gauge checks and micrometer/caliper usage.
- Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards.
- Maintains specifications by observing taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
- Ensures work station is clean and organized during shift and before shift end
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
- Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications. - Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Essential Qualifications:
- 1 year of relative experience OR Manufacturing Experience in a production setting
- Able to pass drug and background check
- Able to work overtime and weekends as needed

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
