Zing has partnered with an industry leading Medical Device manufacturer in Vandalia, OH! We are hiring experienced 2nd and 3rd Shift CNC Milling Machinists!
Responsibilities:
- Simple to complex set-ups and operation of CNC machines to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts
- May run several machines at once
- Read and understand blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals and specifications
- Calculate and set controls such as speed, feed, coolant flow, etc while observing machine operation to detect malfunctions or out of tolerance machining
- Verify conformance of pieces to specifications using micrometers, calipers, comparator, height gages and gage blocks (To 1/1000 of an inch)
Requirements:
- High school Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience with Haas, Mori Seiki or Matsuura highly preferred
- Prior Six Sigma training preferred
- Prior CNC machining experience is required
- Knowledge of GD&T and G & M codes
