Experienced CNC VTL and CNC Boring Mill Machinists

URGENTLY HIRING!!!

CNC machinists (not operators) for the following: CNC VTL, CNC Boring Mill- 2nd shift - 6 positions!

3 experienced machinists, and 3 machinists that have "some experience" but a huge desire to learn and grow! My client is willing to teach you!

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts
- Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products
- Program and operate CNC machines using specified controls
- Perform quality control checks using bore gauges and other measuring instruments
- Read and interpret engineering drawings for dimensions and tolerances
- Use lathe machines to cut, shape, and finish materials
- Utilize SolidWorks or CAD software to create and modify part designs

Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of JOB SHOP experience
- Experience with lathe, mill operations and machining techniques
- Excellent technical drawing reading skills
- Prefer experience with working with superalloy materials such as 600 series Inconel, René 41, Hastelloy, etc. for Aerospace
- Knowledge of SolidWorks or CAD for design modifications
- Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations related to machining processes
- Understanding of CNC machinery and its functions
- Applicants must take pride in work, providing clean and deburred parts that are made to the drawing

Looking for self starters who have good communication skills who are organized and methodical. Must have a desire to learn and produce top quality parts!

6-2nd shift positions open!

$30-35 an hour to start and full benefits. These are direct hire positions!

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 53 per week
