Description:
The candidate will be responsible for dedicated support of specific business units for the client. This includes dedicated Tier I/II support of workstations and business applications and may include definition of requirements, research, analysis, and selection of COTS solutions or designing custom solutions, analysis of security impact, definition of test plans, use/test cases and pilot testing the solution.This can also include specialized tasks such as Webmaster or VTC equipment configuration, install, and support. The candidate will work directly with the client and their contractors as well as with NDFL team in a collaborative fashion to define solutions to meet the client’s business needs. Candidates will communicate with employees and contractors; displaying strong customer service skills, using professionalism, tact and diplomacy at all times in order to answer support calls; and coordinate with vendors on pickups, returns, and on-site repairs.
Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Master’s degree and 6 years’ experience
Must be eligible for a government clearance
Required Skills:
Minimum of 6 years’ systems analyst/engineer
Tier I/II support of IT equipment/business applications (Diagnosis/Remediation, Install, Configuration, Maintenance, Performance Analysis/Tuning)
Experience with requirements analyzing and developing software requirements
Experience performing software testing
Technical writing and business communications
Background working in Tier I/II support/systems analysis/quality assurance in an IT environment
Effective written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities include:
Tier I/II support of workstation, print, and business applications
Facilitate the gathering in requirements including documentation of business and technical requirements and documentation of a requirements traceability matrix
Perform research and analysis of various COTS solutions to meet the requirements
Performs architectural design for the solution including hardware, software, security, database, and data flow definition
Performs technical design of the solution including documentation of technical and architectural design and updating requirements traceability matrix.
Performs analysis of security risks associated with the solution.
Performs cost analysis of solution including costs for hardware, software, staff required to implement the solution.
Responsible for synthesizing customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints.
Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems.
Coordinates integrated testing activities.
Reviews and evaluates test requirements to insure completeness of test program.
Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations.
Conducts software testing, verification and validation.
Conducts unit, system, regression, performance, and UAT testing.
Ensures that project and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contract.
Reviews include applicable specifications, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies.
Performs or directs verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability.
Defines implementation plan and communicates will release management team to indicate readiness to transition to operations.
Communicates release schedules to the client business units
Defines/reviews training plan in coordination with the solution and implementation plan documents
