Position Summary
Competent CNC Mill Operator for an Aerospace production environment, programing is not required, however, we do ask that you can adjust offsets, tools, etc. as necessary and operate in a production environment
Responsibilities
- Set up and Operate CNC Mills.
- Load raw material and/or parts into the machines.
- Prepare a part for first article inspection before production.
- Monitor machines during production and adjust as needed.
- Measure finished product and compare to requirements.
- Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as a CNC operator, including set ups.
- Must have the ability to work with minimum supervision when needed.
- The ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for long periods of time is required.
- Ability to use precision measurement tools.
- Ability to read drawings and internal planning.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot.
- Good communication skills.
- A keen eye for detail and quality defects.
- High school diploma, GED, or certificate in a relevant discipline is a plus.
- Experience with Okuma controls a plus.
