CNC Machinist / Programmer

• 
  Produce machined parts on manual or CNC machines
• Set up mills & lathes by installing & adjusting three and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, etc.
• Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces
• Adhere tointernational quality standards
• Follow safety procedures & regulations
• Complete preventative maintenance requirements and manufacturer's instructions
• Work consistent, full-time hours, 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with available overtime

We seek a CNC Machinist / Programmer who will program, set up, and operate manual or CNC machines to produce machined parts. Our company provides protective coatings for various products, including medical instruments, lighting fixtures, automotive parts, and industrial components. If you have experience with a CAD program and CNC machining, consider joining our team.

Our Ideal CNC Machinist / Programmer:

• Experienced: 1-3 years of CNC Machining experience is required.
• Tech Savvy: experience with Mastercam, Gibb, or similar programming experience is strongly desired.
• Effective Communicator: Our CNC Machinist/Programmer will communicate all actions, issues, and needs to the incoming workers during shift changes. This includes making notes of progress and problems with the machines.
• Reliable: Can be trusted to work independently and manage your daily schedule effectively.
• Mechanical: Ability to use hand tools, operate machinery safely, and inspect own work. Able to maintain equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Detailed: Precision is Key.
• Active: Able to stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds.
