Are you a seasoned CNC Lathe Machinist with a knack for precision and a keen eye for detail? We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is a permanent position and offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machine operation, blueprint reading, lathe operation, and experience with Mori Seiki, NL2500, Dmg Mori Seiki. The successful candidate will also have a solid understanding of CNC lathe set up, machine set-up, and CNC maintenance.
Responsibilities:
As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you will be a vital part of our team, responsible for:
1. Setting up and operating CNC lathes to perform precision machining operations.
2. Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
3. Adjusting machine settings to maintain product quality and consistency.
4. Ensuring machinery is properly maintained and in good working order.
5. Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the machining process.
6. Collaborating with the engineering team to improve machining processes and techniques.
7. Adhering to all safety protocols and workplace policies.
8. Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
2. Proficiency in CNC machine operation and lathe operation.
3. Experience with Mori Seiki, NL2500, and Dmg Mori Seiki.
4. A strong understanding of CNC lathe set up and machine set-up.
5. Experience in CNC maintenance.
6. The ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
7. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
9. A dedication to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
10. A high school diploma or equivalent. A degree in a relevant field or a vocational training certificate is a plus.
