This position will be supporting the St. Charles area and may occasionally travel to Evanston/Northbrook
In this role, the Home Health Aide will:
- Provide personal care (Baths, oral hygiene, feeding etc.)
- Assist patient with transfers/walking as needed.
- Perform range of motion and other simple procedures as an extensional therapy service as ordered (within the training limitations of the CNA)
- Assist the patient in self-administration of medication.
- Report on patients condition and significant changes to the assigned supervising clinician.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A current CNA certification that meets all home care requirements.
- A current CPR certification.
- A valid drivers license with an automobile that is insured in accordance with organizational requirements and is in good working order.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to be self-directing with little direct supervision.
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
