As a Home Health Aide and/or CNA in Fort Dodge, you will…
- Assisting patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Helping patients with mobility, including transferring and positioning patients as needed
- Monitoring and recording vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
- Documenting patient care activities and observations in the electronic medical record system
- Maintaining a clean and safe patient environment, including changing bed linens, emptying bedpans, and cleaning equipment
- Participating in team meetings and in-service training sessions to improve patient care and stay up to date on best practices
This is an excellent opportunity for part-time hours. Monday through Friday between 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and every other weekend.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods of time
