Form of workAssists with GXT stress test hook up, event monitors and place/remove/scanning Holter monitors and clinic coverage when staff is out. Assist physician with treadmill studies and assist echo tech with various testing done in the office. Will help with other duties when no test is scheduled.
Obtains basic vital signs on patients (weight, BP, EKG, etc.). Triage patient phone calls. Monitor lab results/report these to physician. Review test results with patient as instructed by physician. Manage prescription refills with patient/pharmacy/physician. Oversee patients' charts for appointment (make sure all records are in chart/referrals in chart/any test results in chart)/ Pre-load information into Epic. Make sure patients are appropriately scheduled according to guidelines.
LPN - Must be a graduate of LPN program and have a current license. Prefer clinic experience.
CMA - Must be a graduate from an accedited Medical Assistant program. Knowledge of practice management systems, office automation skills, and knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding. In addition, must possess experience assisting physician with patient care (vital signs, etc.).
Clinic Tech - Current Paramedic certification and certification BCLS,ITLS, or PHTLS, ACLS. Paramedica experience required. National medical assitant certification.
Must have a current NC Paramedic or AEMT certification.
ACLS and BLS certification required. Minimum 2 years experience in nursing required. Experience in cardiology preferred. At least 1 year of clinic experience preferred.
