School Health Aide (Lpn, Cna, Cma, Emt, Rn)

Wake Preparatory Academy is accepting applications for a school Health Aide. Preferably a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Certified Nurse's Aide (CNA), or Registered Nurse (RN). Candidates must be willing to undergo a background check.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Provides basic first aid and general care to students.
• Administers daily prescription and over­ the ­counter medications to students and maintains accurate records of medication given.
• Reviews student immunization records to ensure state compliance.
• Assists with hearing and vision screening.
• Acts as liaison between teachers, parents, students and administrators.
