Clubhouse Staff

Peninsula Golf & Country Club in San Mateo has a job opening for Clubhouse Staff. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Clubhouse Staff. The Clubhouse Staff ensures the general upkeep of a clubhouse. He/she will maintain the cleanliness, inside and outside the property to keep it presentable and running smoothly. As a Clubhouse Staff member, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our clubhouse facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:
· Greet and welcome members and guests to the clubhouse.

· Assist with event management, including setup, coordination, and cleanup.

· Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the clubhouse facilities.

· Monitor clubhouse areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

· Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues.

· Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

Essential Job Functions included but are not limited to:

· Cleaning the interior and exterior of the clubhouse which can include cleaning floors, vacuuming, and rearranging and moving furniture and other items.

· Ensuring that grounds and exterior workspaces are clean; washing windows as needed.

· Performing small repairs and assisting other staff members if needed

· Keeping property free of trash and pests and handling trash and recycling both inside and outside the clubhouse

· Maintaining watering plants, paths, and steps clear of debris.

· Upkeeping by jet-spraying exterior walls and windowsills, and outdoor furniture as needed.

· Looking after swimming pools, saunas, gyms, and hot tub

· Assisting with laundry and ironing, laying tables.

· Setting up furniture and structures for parties and events, dismantle and storage.

· Identifying and reporting maintenance issues and coordinating appropriate responses

· Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.

· Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.

· Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

· Must be able to use hand trucks to assist in receiving products when needed.

· Must be available to work at special events when needed.

· When lifting anything over 10 pounds must wear a Support Belt.

· Must be flexible and able to work days, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Salary: $18 - $20 per hour, based on experience.
