This senior level position will provide the next generation of Data and Analytics into Mobile and Digital Banking applications providing insights into users and their banking behavior and experience. This is an opportunity to forge new concepts and techniques inside a new product that will combine data from multiple sources to provide new opportunities. Mobile Applications are a new paradigm and their data may take new forms such as real-time or traditional historical reporting. Part of this paradigm will be to forge into the next generation where we simply don't look at the past but try to anticipate the future. We want to give our users the capability to push themselves to the next level as we push ourselves to the next level.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Participate in assessing current infrastructure environment. They work with IT teams to ensure application requirements are understood and translated to technical solutions.
• Prepare architectural design documentation, including diagrams and inventories.
• Other typical duties performed by the architect include collaborating with staff, users and senior management on in reviewing new and existing projects, systems design and plans.
• Conducting research on emerging technologies to support changes in leading cloud best practices and infrastructure.
• Will design, develop and supervise implementation of test plans and report findings, in addition to making recommendations to appropriate stakeholders.
Education and Skills:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or another related field. Or equivalent work experience.
• Amazon Certified Professional
• First 15+ years progressive experience architecting, design, and engineering global enterprise IT solutions
• Experience in Large data center migrations and deploying IAAS, PAAS and SAAS for AWS
• Proving experience post-migration testing, reporting and documenting AWS cloud offerings
• Strong understanding of features and capabilities of the Amazon Cloud Platform (Security, Firewalls, VPC, EC2, Amazon S3, Application Insights, SQL Server, Sql DB, Load-Balancers)
• Ability to analyze systems and identify problems migrating to AWS cloud
• Proficient with data migrations utilizing Python, Powershell & AWS Solutions
• Strong systems analysis skills to be able to identify and quickly resolve issues
• Solid networking knowledge (7 network layers, TCP/IP, DNS)
• Source Control methodology and experience implementing
• Advanced knowledge of Active Directory with OU, Group Policies, DNS, ADFS, DHCP
• Solid understanding of the complexities of AWS Identity and Access Management
Amazon Network concepts: VPCs, Geographic Zones, Peering, Integration with 3rd parties, Experience with key Amazon services, Security Groups, Firewall, Load Balancer, Etc.
• Meet deadlines, and work both independently and as a cloud team member
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent technical architecture and technical support documentation skills.
• Contribute to a collaborative work environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions.
