Due to our ongoing growth, we have a new Cloud &IT Administrator role available on our team. What you’ll do

Supporting the day-to-day operations of cloud environments will be a major focus of your role.  With a combination of tactical and strategic responsibilities, day to day you’ll:

• Set up and manage Cloud environments, including Office 365 and Azure
• Solve issues and handle tasks related to Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365
• Keep things secure by working with Azure Active Directory to manage user access and identity
• Watch over and maintain security for desktops and servers
• Use Group Policy and Intune Device Management for device policies and configurations
• Keep a remote eye on systems using monitoring solutions to ensure they're running smoothly
• Get hands-on with configuring and installing employee laptops and virtual Windows servers
• Assist in introducing new virtual servers and applications under the guidance of a senior engineer
• Provide support for Windows Server (experience with configurations is a big plus!)
• Help onboard new customers on the Wavefront cloud platform
• Keep an eye out for opportunities to make improvements, both internally and externally

 

What you need to thrive in this role

• Location:  Remote role with less than 5% travel. If you’re in OH, VA, SD, IN, or ID, that’s a plus!
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, averaging 40 hours/week.  Emergencies might call for after-hours heroics, but that's just part of the tech adventure
• Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on experience with Azure and Microsoft 365 required
• Education/Certification: While a college degree is a plus, we’d love to see some current certifications in your tech toolkit, such as CompTIA, Microsoft MCSE, MS-100, MS-102, AZ-104/500, SC-300
• Technical Skills Required: A self-motivation to keep up with emerging technology is a must!  We are also looking for proficiency in networking, prior Intune management experience, familiarity with remote monitoring solutions, and previous experience with ticketing and support solutions
• Additional Skills Required: Excellent communication & collaboration skills are key, and experience within an MSP environment is a plus
