Barnes Dennig Technology Services – IT Infrastructure Administrator

The IT Infrastructure Administrator plays a vital role on the Technology Team as a detail-oriented and driven colleague contributing to the diverse day-to-day activities within the Technology function. The Infrastructure Administrator position allows you to demonstrate your extraordinary technical skills by handling the IT system infrastructure and related processes, as you work with other Technology team members ensuring the daily operations of the firm’s technology run smoothly.
As an IT Infrastructure Administrator, you will immediately begin assisting in executing an array of services to enrich the experience for our professionals. You will be challenged to communicate and work effectively in a team environment, while also working independently, providing support for day-to-day operations, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration of various IT components, including employee/server devices, storage systems, network devices, printers, and mobile devices. Your expertise in configuring and managing Windows operating systems, installing software, troubleshooting, maintaining system integrity, and configuring network components will be essential for improving reliability and performance, while ensuring the smooth operation of firm IT systems as you identify, diagnose, and resolve IT related issues.
As part of the Technology Services team, you will be expected to produce work at a high level in a fast-paced environment as you meet deadlines and customer expectations focused on accuracy, confidentiality, and quality, while being responsible for maintaining end-user relationships at all levels throughout the organization as you provide comprehensive technical support to Barnes Dennig’s mobile workforce locally, at client engagement sites, or other locations as required. This position will be in-person and on-site at a Barnes Dennig office location with occasional travel between office sites, while working outside of non-traditional work hours periodically required as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent IT Systems Support experience
  • Relevant work experience such as: Proven training or experience in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Excellent technical skills – Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, Wired and Wireless Windows Networking
  • Demonstrated understanding of computer hardware, mobile devices, and other tech equipment
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve high-level technical issues efficiently and successfully
  • Highly effective skillset as it relates to: Interacting with clients, coworkers, and leadership teams in a positive and professional manner; building strong relationships and networks, customer service, dependability, verbal and written communication, presentation, listening.
  • Ability to: interact with all levels inside the organization, take initiative, anticipate problems and formulate resolutions, exercise good judgment/decision making, prioritize and multi-task, work independently, work effectively in a fast-paced environment, travel occasionally between offices, work nights/weekends as needed.
