Cloud & Infrastructure Project Manager

EAG is starting the search for a highly skilled and experienced Cloud & Infrastructure PM to join our team. As the Cloud & Infrastructure PM, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure and services. You will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our cloud environment. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in cloud technologies, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
The person in this role is expected to demonstrate daily the appropriate analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills to fulfill the responsibilities outlined below and generate quality results. Strong time management, written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate to individuals at all levels of the organization, are essential along with the ability to work as part of a team. All members of the EAG team are expected to actively participate in our team environment, communicate with our customers in a professional and service-oriented manner and identify process improvement and optimization opportunities. As EAG continues to grow, members must be able to handle changing priorities, new challenges, and multi-tasking.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and manage the implementation and operation of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
• Consult with and oversee technology operations (e.g., network security) and evaluate them according to established project scopes.
• Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by the client.
• Analyze the business requirements in conjunction with EAG customers and determine their technology needs.
• Assist with the selection and procurement of efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software.
• Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency.
• Identify the need for upgrades, configurations, or new systems.
• Coordinate managers, engineers and technicians as required to accomplish client goals.
• Manage your project budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
• Assist in building relationships with new and existing clients as well as 3rd party vendors.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies and identify opportunities for their integration into our infrastructure.
• Design and implement security measures to protect our cloud environment from potential threats and vulnerabilities.

POSITION, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS (Minimum Qualifications):

• Proven experience as IT director or similar role
• Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications.
• Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc.
• Experience in controlling information technology budget.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Outstanding communication abilities.
• Moderate to Advanced networking such as virtual switching, dynamic routing and firewall assessment and implementations.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automating infrastructure tasks.
• Azure architecture, implementation and migration experience including Azure Site Recovery and Migration Services.
• Windows Server/core services implementation, configuration, and support (Active Director, DHCP, DNS and Backup/Disaster recovery.)
• Office 365 and Azure AD implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• SQL server implementations (preparing for applications and install of the core system not DBA experience.)
• Strong troubleshooting skills in the technical areas listed above.
• Linux experience a plus.
• Experience being the primary engineer and Project Manager for IT projects.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and self-motivated.
• Aptitude to learn new technology, products, and concepts.
• Must be Houston-based. EAG offers hybrid work options.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
EAG offers a variety of flexible schedules and models which would be confirmed during the interview process.
The selected candidate will work in our downtown office on a hybrid schedule.
