POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for someone to join our clinical team and provide services in Philadelphia, New Jersey and New York. The candidate can live in PA/NJ/NY/MD as long as they have easy access to the airport. The key responsibility is to provide clinical training on the company’s products in an effort to provide excellent service to our customers and improve patient outcomes. The main focus is a medical laser used to treat skin diseases. This position will include identifying training needs, implementing the proper education of our customers and employees, and assisting with clinical study and educational activities. Salary range 70K to 90K.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Maintains expert knowledge on all disease states applicable to the company’s products and services.
- Effectively trains sales team, physicians, and office staff on proper use of the equipment and best practices. This may include in-services, on-going education and webinars.
- Evaluation of Sales Managers and office clinicians to determine proficiency and identify training needs.
- Supports and effectively communicates with sales team on clinical relationships in offices and improving patient outcomes to increase business.
- Effectively initiates and manages the launch process of new accounts including explaining the launch process, coordinating office training, and communicating with sales team.
- Assists with the development of training and/or educational materials in conjunction with clinical, marketing or sales departments.
- Assists with clinical study activities.
- Provides assistance to customer service when clinical expertise is required.
- Ability to give presentations, discuss and teach, in a professional, knowledgeable manner.
- Flexibility to assist when other teams require assistance.
- Effectively provides Research and Development and Quality Assurance support when clinical expertise is required.
- In certain instances, may be involved in trade shows or national meetings.
- In certain instances, may be involved in international customer support.
EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Clinical Specialist experience or Bachelor’s degree and RN with 2 years of health care experience or 3 preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role.
- Ability to travel 40-60%, including overnights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding leadership, teaching, and training skills.
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet timelines.
- Ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial-type environment is a plus.

ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS:
- Driving Automobiles, moving equipment, doctors' offices or surgery centers, and hospitals. Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.
- Work from a home office is required.
- Hold a field position that will require 40-60% travel.
- Maintain a valid Driver’s License.
- Make sound decisions.
- Demonstrate a strong customer-service orientation in all interactions.
