The Centers for Advanced Orthopedics - MMI Division is looking for a Clinical Service Line Representative. As a Clinical Service Line Representative, you are responsible for continuously monitoring, attending and responding to clinical/medical communications. A Service Line team member demonstrates ambition to deliver excellent customer service through empathetic listening, problem-solving and time management skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Duties include but not limited to answering inbound calls, managing patient questions via phone and portal, acting as a liaison between patients and their provider staff.
- Gathers necessary medical and demographic patient information and utilizes clinical expertise, and accurately enters into the electronic health record.
- What first call resolution cannot be attained, follows up with the patient until resolution is complete
- Documents communications with patients/customers to ensure transparency between departments
- Takes ownership of everything within the scope of this role
- Demonstrates good use of time management
- Follows all policies and procedures set forth by the company
- Detail oriented, personable, energetic individual who can handle multiple tasks, has exceptional verbal and written communications skills, and who can provide excellent customer service.
- Effective oral communication skills and customer service experience
- Knowledge of health insurance, medications, pre-authorizations, and prescriptions preferred.
