Responsibilities:
- Conduct Clinical Research activities, including patient recruitment, screening, and enrollment.
- Perform study visits and protocol-related research procedures.
- Administer injections, perform blood draws, and process samples in accordance with protocol.
- Perform medical procedures such as blood pressure monitoring, ECGs, and specimen collection under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of participant information, medical history, and research data.
- Maintain accurate study source documents and regulatory files.
- Assist with data entry, data management, and quality control processes.
- Assist the Principal Investigator, Site Coordinator, and Lead Study Coordinator with other Clinical Research activities.
Desired Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant training program required.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with a lead study coordinator, handling multiple assignments in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
- Solid medical knowledge and understanding of Clinical Research principles and practices.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Meticulous attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Strong computer skills, including electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
- Previous experience in Clinical Research is a plus.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) would be an asset.
Pay commensurate with experience.
This is a full time position with an expected 40 hour workweek, typically Monday-Friday.
