The Clinical Quality Improvement (CQI) Coordinator has primary responsibility for oversight of clinical improvement initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting improved health care outcomes. Coordinates with clinic and department heads to ensure optimal quality outcomes and patient confidentiality in adherence to Community Care Partners policies and procedures. Supports and adheres to the Community Care Partners Code of Ethics, Business Standards, and Shared Values.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Oversee ongoing Clinical Quality Improvement programs and projects with the guidance of the Vice President of Clinical Services.
- Support clinics to implement the necessary tools and care process changes to improve patient outcomes and develop innovative approaches to care delivery.
- Collaborate with Clinical Leadership to develop and regularly review clinical standard operating procedures and clinical orientation guidelines.
- Maintain CLIA certifications.
- Audit and monitor compliance and quality assurance of CLIA, Clinic Risk Assessments and Chart Reviews.
- Participate in the critical analysis of existing clinical outcome measures.
- Participate in on-going development of clinical data repository and dashboard reporting.
- Participate in monthly Clinical Quality meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated effective written, verbal and electronic communication that is professional in both content and delivery. Demonstrated ability to gain trust and respect of the providers, staff, and peers. Effectively models interpersonal and problem-solving skills to aid in the resolution of issues in a timely manner. Ability to work as a team member. Ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem- solving expertise. Strong interpersonal skills.
- Education: An AA or AS degree in business administration, healthcare administration or a closely related field of study is preferred. A high school diploma/GED is required.
- Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a health care organization is preferred.
