What sets this program apart is that it is an entirely clinical placement housed within a school and involves group, individual, and family treatment. This is altogether clinical rather than school psychology work.Compensation:* Salaried position providing two hours of supervision* $48,000Position Description:The Post-Doctoral position consists of clinical work with adolescents in a school-based setting to facilitate their emotional growth and development.
The program also seeks to support students returning from or at risk of out-of-district placement. The REACH Program is located in five different school districts (Upper Merion Area School District, North Penn School District, Pottsgrove School District, Garnet Valley School District, and Methacton School District) and provides services to K-12th graders. Post-docs will work with students in both group and individual sessions.
They should possess excellent therapeutic alliance skills with children and adolescents and strong collaboration skills with family, school professionals, and medical providers.
